Cake without baking with apples, cookies and peanuts

A delicious, fragrant no-bake cake is prepared in the simplest way - by mixing crushed cookies, peanuts and apple cream. For the preparation of the cream, applesauce and a custard egg-milk base with the addition of butter, honey and cinnamon are used. This gives the dessert both sweetness, sourness and a wonderful fruity aroma with honey-cinnamon notes. It turns out very tasty!

  1. Apples are peeled and seed box, cut into slices. I got 400 g of peeled apples. Pour apples with 200 ml of water and put on fire.
  2. Bring the apples to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes, until soft.
  3. Drain the water from the cooked apples and mash the apples into a puree. Let the applesauce cool down.
  4. Break the cookies into pieces (not too small).
  5. In a saucepan or saucepan with thick walls, combine milk, egg and honey.
  6. Mix with a whisk.
  7. We put the pan on the fire and, stirring the mixture all the time with a whisk, heat it up to about 90 degrees. The mixture should not boil. When the mixture thickens, turns white and bubbles begin to appear, remove from heat.
  8. Add butter to the hot mixture.
  9. Stir to dissolve the oil.
  10. Then add cinnamon and vanilla sugar.
  11. Mix until smooth and leave to cool.
  12. Add the applesauce to the cooled mixture and stir.
  13. Roast the peanuts lightly (about 3-4 minutes) in a dry frying pan until lightly browned. Leave a few nuts to decorate the cake.
  14. Peanuts, if possible freed from the husk, grind with a rolling pin, but not too finely. Add peanuts to cookies. A few cookies can be set aside to decorate the cake.
  15. Add the applesauce mixture to the bowl of peanuts and biscuits.
  16. Gently mix the mass so that the cookies do not break too much.
  17. We cover the form (I have a form with a diameter of 20 cm) with cling film and tightly lay out the resulting mass. Level the surface with a spatula. We put the form in the refrigerator for several hours. I left it overnight.
  18. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave in short pulses.
  19. Turn the finished apple cake without baking onto a plate and remove the mold.
  20. Cake with apples, cookies and nuts pour melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. You can additionally sprinkle with crumbled cookies. Enjoy your meal!
