Chocolate cakes covered with chocolate cream are a real treat for those with a sweet tooth.

  1. Grease two round molds with a diameter of 20 centimeters with butter. Line the bottom of each pan with parchment paper and brush with oil.
  2. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda and cocoa powder.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Gradually introduce eggs. Then add the flour mixture and buttermilk (sour milk), mix well.
  5. Put the dough into the prepared forms and place in the preheated oven, bake the chocolate cake layers for about 30-35 minutes, until a clean wooden stick. Let the finished cakes stand in the molds for 10 minutes, and then turn them over onto a wire rack, remove the molds and remove the parchment. Leave cakes on wire rack until completely cooled.
  6. Prepare chocolate cream. Place butter in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Pour half of the powdered sugar into the butter, mix well, gradually add the remaining powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a water bath or in the microwave.
  7. Pour the melted chocolate into the butter cream, mix well.
  8. Lubricate the cooled cakes with chocolate cream, form a cake.
  9. Chocolate buttercream cake is ready.
