Chocolate sausage

If you want something new and unusual for morning coffee - here is a recipe for chocolate sausage: simple, fast, inexpensive, and interesting. The original recipe uses Savoyard cookies, it is sold in every major supermarket, costs little, and is always worth having on hand if you like to make Tiramisu and similar desserts, but other simple cookies like "Coffee" may be suitable.

Ingredients

• 180 g of butter at room temperature
• 200 g of Savoyard cookies, broken into pieces about 1 cm in size
• 4 egg yolks
• 160 g of sugar
• 100 g of cocoa powder
• 200 g of any nuts cut into small pieces
• 150 g of small pieces of dried fruit
• pinch of salt

Directions

1. Beat the yolks with the sugar. Add butter, cocoa, and salt and beat until smooth.
2. Add nuts, dried fruits, and cookies to the mass and mix thoroughly.
3. Take a sheet of foil, put the chocolate mass there, and wrap it in sausage, about 5 cm thick. Put in the refrigerator overnight.
4. Serve, sliced.
