A great recipe not only for a homemade breakfast, but also for a later snack at work. Just do not eat the whole loaf, remember about the bread units - share with a couple of colleagues. There are enough ingredients in this recipe for an entire office ... or a very large family.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Whisk the olive oil with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the loaf into 24 thin pieces and brush each piece on one side with the olive mixture.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into large cubes, the olives into circles, removing the seeds.
  4. Drain all the juice from the tuna can and take the fish apart. Spread the tomatoes in an even layer over half the loaf. Sprinkle with capers and olives. Arrange the tuna slices and basil leaves on top.
  5. Cover with second pieces of bread and press with your hands. Cover the sandwiches with plastic wrap, place a weighted tray on top and let sit for 10 minutes.
