Chocolate Cake Recipe - A simple but very tasty and elegant pastry for those who love chocolate. Cocoa is added to both the dough and the fudge cream.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven and preheat to 180 degrees. Grease two 20cm round tins with butter and line with parchment paper. (Or prepare one pan and bake two cakes in turn.)
  2. Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder into a bowl.
  3. Add eggs, sugar (you can add 2 more tablespoons for sweet tooth), softened butter, vanilla.
  4. Beat everything with a mixer until smooth. Mix in 2 tbsp. l. hot water. If the dough is not liquid enough (it should drip from the mixer attachments), add 2 more tablespoons of hot water.
  5. Pour the dough into two molds (equally) and level the surface.
  6. Bake the cakes for 35-40 minutes to rise (the cakes are ready when they start to move away from the sides of the mold, you can check the readiness with a wooden stick).
  7. Prepare chocolate cream fudge. Sift cocoa and powdered sugar into a bowl. Add melted butter and milk. Whisk until smooth. If needed, add a little more milk so that the fondant is not too thick.
  8. Lubricate the cooled cakes with prepared chocolate fudge and lay on top of each other.
