Delightfully aromatic seafood dish! It's tasty! Shrimps fried in butter with garlic can be a complete dinner dish, served with freshly baked bread or tortillas, lavash. Or you can cook and serve them as a snack when friends come to visit. In any case, everyone will appreciate the excellent taste of this dish and the simply unearthly aroma!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Of course, the first thing we do is clean and wash the shrimp. Then we peel the onion, remove the husk from it and cut it very finely with a knife. We also clean the cloves of garlic and also chop very finely with a knife. You should not pass the garlic through a special press, since in this case it will turn into porridge when cooking, and we do not need it.
  2. We wash fresh parsley sprigs under running water and blot the moisture with kitchen paper napkins. After that, put the parsley on the work surface and chop finely with a knife.
  3. Wash the lemon well with the back of a dishwashing sponge and warm water to remove the layer of preservative commonly used on citrus fruits when they are sold to increase shelf life. Next, squeeze out the specified amount of juice and remove a little lemon zest. When removing the zest, we try not to touch the white layer of the peel, which tastes unpleasantly bitter. You can also use the zest prepared in advance, but it is still better to take fresh.
  4. Put a large skillet over medium heat, put butter in it and melt it, heat it up. Put chopped onion, chopped garlic in butter, sprinkle with ground red pepper. Cook everything together, stirring often, for 2 minutes.
  5. Next, add the shrimp to the pan, mix, sprinkle everything with salt and black pepper. Cook everything together for 3-4 minutes - until the shrimps are cooked. The shrimp turn pink when cooked. It is important not to overcook them, otherwise they will become harsh and dryish, not as juicy, rich and tasty as they should.
  6. Put finely chopped parsley, lemon zest in a frying pan and pour out freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix everything, remove it from the heat and serve it hot. We complement the dish with fresh bread, which can be dipped in delicious garlic sauce.
  7. Bon Appetit! It's just a delight in the taste!
