This chocolate cake is a little different from the classic Prague cake, but it is also made from chocolate cakes, chocolate cream with condensed milk and covered with chocolate icing. Cakes for the Prague cake according to a homemade recipe are baked from dough with condensed milk and sour cream. The cake is very tasty and tender.

  1. Beat eggs with sugar until light.
  2. Add condensed milk, sour cream, stir.
  3. Sift flour, soda, cocoa into the resulting mass. Mix with a spatula, then beat the dough with a mixer at low speed until smooth.
  4. Cover the bottom of the form with parchment (form diameter 24 cm).
  5. Divide the dough into 3 parts and bake three identical cakes. Bake chocolate cake layers in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Remove the finished cakes from the mold onto a wire rack and leave to cool completely.
  7. Prepare cream ingredients.
  8. Beat soft butter until light and airy.
  9. Add condensed milk and cocoa, mix with a silicone spatula, then beat the chocolate cream with a mixer until smooth.
  10. Assemble the cake: smear the cakes with cream and lay on top of each other. The sides of the cake and the top cake are also smeared with a thin layer of cream.
  11. Place the chocolate cake in the refrigerator to set the cream.
  12. Prepare chocolate ganache. To do this, break the chocolate and heat it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. The main thing is not to overdo it.
  13. Bring cream to a boil and pour hot cream over chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has completely melted into the cream. Add butter, mix until smooth.
  14. Drizzle homemade Prague cake with chocolate icing. Leave the cake on a wire rack to drain excess frosting off the cake. Place the chocolate cake in the refrigerator to set the frosting, then transfer to a serving dish.
  15. Homemade Prague cake is ready.
