An elegant dish for lovers of delicacies and seafood. I propose to cook a dietary and very healthy dish of mussels in garlic sauce. Mussels live in many seas and only live in very clear waters. Mussel meat in terms of protein content is twice as high as chicken, and there are simply not many other useful substances in this meat. In addition, mussel meat is low in calories and those who monitor the calorie content have nothing to fear here.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, we need to rinse the mussels thoroughly. Then put them in cold water and heat them over low heat. When heated, the shells of the molluscs should open. Those mussels whose flaps will not open are not suitable for food, and they will have to be thrown away.
  2. Separate one flap from each mussel. It is also necessary now to remove the "bag" with dirty liquid from each mussel. Only mussel meat should remain in the shells.
  3. Heat about 100 grams of water in a frying pan and place the mussels in it. Add butter and a little salt. Next, after a minute add finely grated or crushed garlic and cream. Stir and simmer this mass in a pan until it thickens slightly.
  4. Next, remove the mussels from the pan and put them on a plate, and continue to simmer the sauce. Add chopped parsley, salt and black pepper to the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little cream or water. While stirring, cook for a couple of minutes and the sauce is ready.
  5. Now pour the sauce over the mussels and decorate the dish with lemon wedges. This dish is best served with mussels on salad leaves.
  6. Mussels in garlic sauce are ready. I think that this food will not leave indifferent.
