An easy tea cake recipe.

  1. Whisk eggs well with sugar. Slowly and carefully fold in the sifted flour. Divide the dough into two or four parts.
  2. Pour the dough into a greased form, sprinkle with roasted and chopped nuts. We bake shortcakes at 180 degrees until cooked. Pour cherry juice over one cake. Cakes can be smeared with jam (but not sweet) and folded into a pie with nuts, alternating pink and white cakes.
