Potato lazy dumplings

Just make lazy dumplings with potatoes for lunch.

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into pieces.
  2. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, cover with cold water, put on fire, bring to a boil. Boil the potatoes until tender over low heat, covered (about 20 minutes).
  3. Peel, wash, chop the onion
  4. finely.
  5. Heat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil, put prepared onion. Saute the onions over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown (2-3 minutes).
  6. Drain the water, heat and add onion (half onion), salt and pepper, sautéed in vegetable oil. Mix well.
  7. Dough: Sift flour. Add salt to a bowl of flour.
  8. Add warm water to a bowl.
  9. Knead the dough, not very steep, but so as not to stick to your hands. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Cover the dough with a towel, leave for 5-10 minutes.
  11. Cut the dough in half and form two balls.
  12. Adding flour, roll out the dough into thin layers (about 2-3 mm).
  13. Cut the layers into small cubes, triangles or diamonds.
  14. Boil 2.5 liters of water in a saucepan, season with salt. Dip the chopped dough into boiling water. Boil. Cook in salted boiling water until tender (about 2-3 minutes).
  15. Throw the finished products in a colander.
  16. In prepared potatoes, stirring, add small portions, pre-strained through a colander, dough squares.
  17. Potato lazy dumplings are ready. Sprinkle with fried onions when serving.
