Lightweight, fast, mouth-watering, from common products! A salad with squid and cheese is prepared very quickly, but it turns out to be hearty and delicious! Such a salad can even be served on the festive table if it is beautifully laid out in layers in a ring. Canned squid can be used instead of frozen squid.

  1. How to make a squid and cheese salad? Prepare your ingredients. Squids can be used both raw and ready-made, canned. Cheese can be any: hard, semi-hard and even processed, as long as it is tasty.
  2. Defrost the squids, peel off the film and gut, removing the insides and chitinous plate. Rinse them well under running water.
  3. Boil the squid. How to boil squid? Place the peeled squid in salted boiling water. Cook them for 1-2 minutes. Do not cook any longer !!! Otherwise, the squid will become tough as rubber and completely tasteless.
  4. Remove the finished squid from boiling water and refrigerate. Cut them into strips.
  5. Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater.
  6. Boil the eggs. How to cook hard boiled eggs? Put them in cold water, cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature drop. Refrigerate and peel them. Cut into small cubes.
  7. Combine squid, eggs and cheese in a salad bowl.
  8. Season everything with mayonnaise.
  9. Mix everything well. Put the salad in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes before serving. Bon Appetit!
