Tasty pumpkin cake

The cake turned out the way I like it - not cloyingly sweet. With soft tasty cakes.

Ingredients

  1. Soak the raisins. We chop the nuts.
  2. For the dough, mix all the ingredients, except for nuts, raisins and half of the flour. It is convenient to do this in a food processor.
  3. Then we will gradually add flour to the dough and knead a soft, loose dough. Divide it in half and mix nuts in one part, and raisins in the second. We also divide each part in half and roll out circles the size of a plate. You can trim the plate so that all the cakes are the same.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment, grease with oil and use a rolling pin to lay out the cake. We bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180C for about 10 minutes on each side at an average level. The bottom of the cake will blush, so it must be turned over. We bake four cakes: two with nuts and two with raisins.
  5. Let the baked cakes cool well.
  6. To decorate the cake, put the pieces of pumpkin to boil with the skin for 30 minutes. Sugar can be added to water.
  7. For cream, beat sour cream with sugar and put in the refrigerator to cool.
  8. We smear the cooled cakes with cream, alternating the cake with nuts, then the cake with raisins.
  9. We will also cover the sides of the cake with cream and sprinkle the finished pumpkin cake with grated nuts.
  10. To decorate the pumpkin cake, cut the cooled boiled pumpkin into thin slices and cut out different figures.
