  1. We will prepare bread with French mustard from the following products: wheat flour, active dry yeast (!), Warm boiled water, sugar, salt, butter, milk powder (if it is not there, we use plain milk instead of water) and French mustard ( the one that is in grains).
  2. First, sift the wheat flour into a suitable bowl. Add milk powder, sugar, yeast and salt there. Mix everything well.
  3. We make a hole with flour and pour warm (slightly warmer than the hand) water there, add granular mustard. Knead the dough for about 30 seconds so that the flour is moistened, then add soft butter in parts, kneading the dough for at least 5 minutes. If necessary, add a little flour, as its moisture content can vary.
  4. As a result, you should get a smooth, soft, elastic bun, which in no case spreads and is not dense to the touch. Cover the bowl with a towel or tighten with cling film. We send our dough for future bread to heat for one hour.
  5. During this time, the dough should grow well - 2.5-3 times.
  6. Gently and carefully knead it and again leave it alone for 60 minutes.
  7. The dough has grown exactly three times - it is light, fluffy and airy.
  8. We turn on the oven to warm up (180 ° C), and we ourselves proceed to forming the bread. What it will be - it's up to you! You can make a hearth (round or oval), or you can bake it in a mold - my option. Grease a baking dish with butter and form such a roll from a bun. We give the workpiece another hour.
  9. This is how the bread preparation should look after 60 minutes.
  10. You need to bake bread with French mustard for 45-50 minutes at 180 ° C. Look what an appetizing handsome man with freckles we got!
  11. We take out the bread from the mold - it needs to be allowed to cool completely on the wire rack (so that the bottom does not soak).
  12. Now is the time to take a sample. Believe it or not, there is absolutely no mustard taste in bread with French mustard - there is only a subtle aroma. Very tasty, tender, airy and aromatic!
