Bulgur is a tasty and very nutritious cereal, little used in Ukrainian cuisine, but really worth noting. In the recipe we offer you today, bulgur goes well with vegetables and is prepared on the principle of "pilaf", ie at the same time with other ingredients. A meatless dish, so it is suitable for both fasting and vegetarian menus, but you can supplement it with fried pieces of chicken or veal fillet or even shrimp.

  1. All vegetables, along with celery, cut into equal-sized small cubes
  2. Bring to a boil 0.5 liters of water and broth solutions.
  3. In a deep frying pan, heat a couple of tablespoons of oil and fry the bulgur for a minute. Add the vegetables and cook together for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour the broth, salt, and pepper and cook under the lid for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve sprinkled with fresh parsley. Alternatively, you can take cilantro or basil, depending on your preferences.
