The Chinese have a saying: "The taste of dumplings is better than the taste of all other dishes." The Chinese eat dumplings both on weekdays and holidays, so Chinese dumplings on the festive table are a must have. Peanuts put a coin viesto - for good luck.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For the sauce, combine soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. For the filling, chop the peeled ginger, garlic and green onion very finely. Mix all the filling ingredients.
  3. For the dough, pour 250 ml of very hot, but not boiling water over the rice flour, stir with a fork. Place the dough on a board and knead, adding the starch. Gather the dough into a ball and continue to knead, adding a little melted lard, until the dough is soft and no longer sticks to your hands.
  4. Roll a sausage out of the dough and cut into 60 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle 5–6 cm in diameter.
  5. Put the filling in the center of the mug (put 1 peanut kernel in a few dumplings, these will be “luck dumplings”) and pinch to form folds.
  6. Grease or line the steamer basket with Chinese cabbage leaves. Put dumplings in it and cook on a medium steam for 5-7 minutes. Serve the hot dumplings immediately, with the sauce.
