You can taste ready-made dumplings on your own, as a side dish, or instead of bread - as part of borscht or soup. They are extremely appetizing and filling because, in addition to mushrooms or meat, they are also topped with sour cream and sprinkled with grated cheese and herbs.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour kefir into a deep bowl, and add soda, eggs, and salt. Stir with a whisk.
  2. Sift flour and add to kefir in small portions to avoid lumps.
  3. Spread the dough on a floured table and knead, adding the required amount of flour. The dough should turn out elastic, but not too tight.
  4. Transfer the finished dough to a bowl, cover with a towel and let it rest.
  5. Cut the onion into rings and fry until golden. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and add to the onion together with the champignons. Salt, pepper and fry until cooked.
  6. Roll out thick sausages from the dough, and cut them into portions.
  7. Boil the pieces of dough in salted boiling water until they rise to the surface of the water. Remove, allow to drain.
  8. Put dumplings in pots, spread mushrooms and meat on top. Add butter, sour cream, and a tablespoon of water.
  9. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and bake the dumplings for 20 minutes.
  10. Ready-made dumplings are served hot and enjoyed by the whole family!
