Grated pie with jam - a classic! Almost every housewife has her own favorite grated pie recipe, proven over the years. I made a grated margarine pie, this time with a layer of raspberry jam, which can be replaced with any other jam or jam without any problems. The pie turns out to be very tasty and easy to prepare!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the grated jam pie.
  2. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
  3. Pour salt, sugar and baking soda into the sifted flour (you do not need to extinguish the soda).
  4. Stir dry ingredients until they are evenly distributed among themselves.
  5. Add the egg and diced margarine to the dry mixture.
  6. Take good quality margarine.
  7. Margarine is completely replaceable with butter or a mixture of butter and sunflower oils.
  8. Knead the dough quickly with your hands. It should gather into a ball. If the dough is dry, add some cold water.
  9. Divide the dough into two equal parts, put them in bags and send them to the freezer for 30-60 minutes.
  10. Then take out one part of the dough and grate it on a coarse grater directly into the mold (my mold size is 20x20 cm). Spread the grated dough evenly over the bottom of the mold.
  11. Brush the grated dough with jam.
  12. I have thick raspberry jam. Choose jam according to your taste, jam with sour taste is best.
  13. If the jam is liquid, pre-mix it with a little potato starch
  14. Remove the second slice of dough from the freezer. Rub the dough so that the crumb covers the jam filling in an even layer.
  15. Bake the grated jam pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  16. Cool the finished pie on the wire rack.
  17. Cut the grated jam pie into pieces and serve for dessert.
  18. Bon Appetit!
