Horse meat goulash is prepared according to the same recipe as the classic Hungarian goulash. The only thing is that you need boiled horse meat to make goulash. Horse meat is a dietary meat. Choose fresh meat.

  1. Rinse horse meat and boil in salted water until tender. Cut the boiled meat into pieces. Prepare vegetables for the goulash. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into cubes. Chop the celery. Peel the carrots and cut into large rings. Peel the onion and cut into large half rings. We need greens at the end of cooking, then chop it. In a large saucepan in oil over medium heat, sauté the onions until soft. Add the carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, for a couple more minutes. Add spices and tomato paste, heat and stir. Put chopped horse meat, potatoes in a saucepan, add bay leaves, cover with water or broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Sprinkle the finished horse meat goulash with fresh chopped herbs. Horse meat goulash is ready!
