A very simple recipe for cookies with vegetable oil and kefir. Twist the elastic and soft dough into "flagella", sprinkle with sugar and bake in the oven. The biscuits turn out to be quite light, with a loose texture reminiscent of a shortbread.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare ingredients.
  2. Break an egg into a deep bowl.
  3. Add vegetable oil, 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar, kefir, vanillin, salt.
  4. Mix well with a whisk.
  5. Gradually add flour sifted with baking powder.
  6. Knead the dough with your hands.
  7. Place the dough on a floured work surface.
  8. Knead it until smooth and homogeneous for another couple of minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  10. Roll the "sausage" out of the dough and cut into equal pieces.
  11. Roll a long "string" from each piece, then fold it in half and twist it twice to form a flagellum (see photo). Pinch the edges.
  12. Dip the cookies in the remaining sugar and place on a baking sheet with baking paper.
  13. Put the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
  14. Enjoy your tea!
