Fast and without frying! Delicate donuts in the oven - no deep fat! Very, very airy, soft and fluffy donuts, without filling. Simply delicious!

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk (about 37 degrees), sugar and dry yeast. If you are not sure about your yeast, leave the mixture for 15 minutes. If the liquid is covered with bubbles, then the yeast is good, you can knead the dough. If there is no foam cap, it means that the yeast is inactive and must be replaced with others.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla sugar, mix everything well.
  3. In order not to clog the dough with flour, first sift 400 g of flour (if necessary, you can add another 50 g while kneading the dough). Add salt. We mix
  4. After the flour has been mixed in, add soft butter to the dough in parts, knead the dough with your hands.
  5. The dough is soft and does not stick to your hands. Grease the bowl and dough with vegetable oil, cover the dough with foil and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rise. Knead the dough that has come up, put it on the work surface, fold it in an envelope. Cover with a film or napkin and leave on the table for 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and dough. Roll out the dough into a layer 0.5 cm thick.
  7. Cut out circles of the same size from the dough using a mold with a diameter of about 8 cm (you can use a glass or a glass).
  8. Cut out small circles inside the circles (with a pastry nozzle or a plastic bottle cap). We also make donuts from the remains of the dough. I got 18 pieces in total.
  9. Put the donuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, at a distance from each other. Cover with a napkin and let stand for 30 minutes.
  10. Then you can brush the donuts for golden brown with a mixture of egg and milk, or just an egg, or milk.
  11. We bake donuts in an oven preheated to a temperature of 190 degrees, for about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  12. As soon as the donuts are browned, we take them out of the oven and put them on the wire rack until they cool completely.
  13. Sprinkle the cooled donuts on top with icing sugar.
  14. Cook and delight your family with delicious homemade cakes!
