Mango Sticky Rice

Traditional Thai sticky rice with mango. An absolutely vegetarian dessert.

  1. Soak the rice for a few hours, preferably overnight.
  2. Then drain the water, wrap the rice in cheesecloth and put in a double boiler. Cook until tender - 20-25 minutes.
  3. Put the coconut milk on low heat, add sugar, salt and let them dissolve.
  4. Transfer the finished rice to a bowl, let it cool slightly. Then add a little coconut milk and stir.
  5. Peel and carefully cut the mango into thin slices without turning it into puree.
  6. Serve mango rice, sprinkle with black sesame seeds.
