Tender and juicy meat combined with spicy tomato sauce create a cool and extremely tasty dish. We have prepared a simple meatball recipe that is perfect for everyday and holiday table.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. First, you need to grind 1-2 pieces of bread in a blender or through a meat grinder. We need 3 tablespoons of bread crumbs.
  2. Prepare the minced meat. You can use pork or ground beef.
  3. Add egg, bread crumbs, 0.5 teaspoons of oregano, and squeeze 1 clove of garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly to form a homogeneous mass.
  4. Shape the minced meatballs so that they do not turn out too big and bulky.
  5. Heat a frying pan, add vegetable oil and place the meatballs to fry. Note that they should be fried over high heat until golden brown. Then transfer them to a separate container.
  6. Drain the unnecessary oil from the pan, add tomato paste, and dried oregano, and squeeze another clove of garlic. If desired, you can salt and pepper.
  7. Bring the sauce to a boil, so it is better to use high heat.
  8. Put the meatballs there, reduce the gas and simmer for 20-30 minutes. For best effect, you can cover the pan with a lid.
  9. Delicious and juicy meatballs in spicy tomato sauce are ready! They can be served as a side dish to boiled potatoes or pasta, sprinkled with chopped green onions.
  10. Bon appetit!
