Oatmeal cookies, with or without chocolate, are loved by many, but they are rarely cooked at home. The reason is simple: despite the fact that there are a huge number of recipes for this delicacy on the Internet, there are few really good ones among them. This is how a person will try to cook on them once or twice and stop trying, because "not that." And if he was familiar with Soviet oatmeal cookies - even more so! Well, something, but in those days it was somehow unusually tasty.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Step 1
  2. Make an oat cookie dough. Cut the butter into small cubes and place in a deep bowl. Leave at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Step 2
  4. Sift the flour with cocoa powder and baking powder through a fine sieve into a separate bowl. Toss with oatmeal. Grind the peeled walnuts in a blender.
  5. Step 3
  6. Add brown sugar to a bowl of soft butter. Beat with a mixer until a fluffy mass is obtained with a uniform consistency. Add the egg. Whisk again.
  7. Step 4
  8. Stir in the cocoa flour and oatmeal mixture gradually. Stir with a spatula. Add chopped nuts. Knead the oatmeal dough well.
  9. Step 5
  10. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Place the dough on it in small portions at a distance of 5 cm from each other. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 ° C. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. After 2-3 minutes, transfer the cookies to a wooden board and let cool completely.
  11. Step 6
  12. For the icing, melt the chocolate in a water bath. Remove from heat. Dip each cookie with an edge in melted chocolate and place on a wire rack. Let the glaze solidify completely.
