  1. In warm water at 30-35 ° C add yeast, sugar, salt, and a little flour, stir and leave to rise.
  2. Add sifted flour, and oil and knead the elastic dough.
  3. Cover the dough with a clean towel and put it in a warm place to grow. The recipe for fasting dough is universal, not only for potato and buckwheat pie, with any filling - apples, cabbage, mushrooms, dried apricots, rice, and egg. You just need to add more sugar to the sweet cake.
  4. For the filling, boil the potatoes and prepare the usual puree.
  5. Boil buckwheat.
  6. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry until golden. Add chopped garlic, salt, and fry for another minute.
  7. Stuffing ingredients - potatoes, buckwheat, and onions mix thoroughly in a large bowl.
  8. The dough that has grown up is divided into 2 parts - smaller and larger.
  9. Roll out most of the dough and spread it on a baking sheet so that the sides are formed on the sides.
  10. Spread the filling, cover with the second part of the dough and pinch the edges well.
  11. Prick with a fork and leave for 20-30 minutes for the dough to rise.
  12. Grease with beaten egg and bake in a hot oven at 200 ° C for 40-45 minutes.
