The recipe for a sweet rice casserole, which we will cook in a slow cooker. Be sure to add juicy and aromatic apples, a little raisins, allspice cinnamon and vanilla sugar. You will get a very tasty dessert dish that will appeal to both adults and children.

This time I took polished rice (you can replace it with round grain), so that when cooked, the casserole is tender and pudding-like. As a filler, not only apples or pears are perfect, but also other juicy fruits of the season. Raisins are optional in the recipe (like cinnamon with vanilla sugar), but with such additives, the rice casserole is much richer and more versatile in taste.

We will cook such a dessert casserole in a multicooker (I have a Scarlett SC-411, the power of the device is 700 W, the volume of the bowl is 4 liters). If you do not have an electric utility, you can use a regular baking dish and oven. In this case, you will have to cook the rice on the stove, and cook the casserole in the oven in a mold (20-22 centimeters in diameter) at 180-190 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To prepare this dessert casserole, we need the following ingredients: rice, water, apples, chicken eggs, sour cream, granulated sugar and vanilla sugar, butter, raisins and ground cinnamon.
  2. First, let's prepare the rice itself, which must be rinsed in cold water to a clear liquid - 5-7 times. A faceted glass with a volume of 250 milliliters is used in the recipe.
  3. We drain the water, put the pure rice into the multicooker bowl, fill it with 2 glasses of drinking water. We insert the bowl into the multicooker, close the lid and cook on the Milk Porridge / Cereals mode for 20 minutes.
  4. We need to boil the rice until almost completely cooked, but not let it boil completely. As the saying goes, the groats should be al dente.
  5. We put the rice on a sieve so that the excess liquid glass.
  6. Then, in a separate bowl, combine a couple of chicken eggs (take 2 small or 1 large), granulated sugar and vanilla sugar.
  7. Beat everything thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved, and then add sour cream (I have 20% fat).
  8. Mix everything thoroughly and add almost finished rice.
  9. Mix again. You should get a mass that resembles a liquid porridge in consistency.
  10. We wipe the bowl of the multicooker where the rice was cooked, grease it with a small amount of butter and put the blank for the future rice casserole into it.
  11. Clean the apples (2 pieces of medium size, firm, sweet and sour varieties) and cut the pulp into small pieces.
  12. Add pitted raisins and ground cinnamon.
  13. Stir - This is our rice casserole filler.
  14. We transfer the apple mass to the rice mixture in the multicooker bowl, slightly melting the fruit slices. Put pieces of butter on top.
  15. Cooking dessert rice casserole on the Baking mode for 1 hour. Turn off the appliance and let the finished casserole stand under the lid for about 15-20 minutes so that it does not fall apart when turning over.
  16. After that, we take out the casserole using the steaming insert.
  17. Transfer to a wide plate or platter and serve.
  18. This rice and apple casserole is good both warm and cold. Cook for health, friends, and bon appetit!
