To cook Stroganoff moose meat, we will take ordinary beef stroganoff as a basic recipe and make it from game based on it. It will turn out very tasty.

  1. Rinse the meat and clean it from excess films, then beat it a little with a kitchen hammer right in the piece. Then we cut pieces of meat along the grain in 0.5-1 centimeter cubes.
  2. Put the chopped meat in a container, sprinkle with salt, black pepper, flour, and mix well. Then you can give the meat a little rest. In the meantime, we are preparing vegetables for the dish - we cut the potatoes and onions.
  3. In a frying pan, heat the sunflower oil and send the onion there. As soon as the onion is slightly gilded, put the prepared meat on top. It is fried for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then we send the fried elk meat to a separate pan.
  4. In order to prepare the sauce, put the tomatoes in a hot pan. We fry them for 7 minutes over moderate heat to remove moisture. Salt and pepper a little, then add sour cream and mix. Simmer the sauce for another 4 minutes. Add the prepared sauce to the elk pan and mix.
  5. Pour sunflower oil into a saucepan and fry in parts in boiling oil. Sprinkle the potatoes after deep-frying with salt.
  6. Place the fries and elk on a large flat plate. Add the tomatoes and sprinkle them with dill a little. Stroganoff elk is ready!
