Gingerbread is one of the oldest Russian delicacies. The word "gingerbread" comes from the word "spices", the presence of which in these products is their characteristic feature.   2. Add cocoa and spices

  4. Add sour cream or yogurt (I have low-fat yogurt), mix with a whisk for about five minutes (or with a mixer).
  5. Add flour and soda, knead the dough (it is more convenient to do this first with a whisk and then with a spoon).
  6. The dough turns out to be viscous, sticks a little to your hands.
  7. After moistening our hands with cold water, we form the gingerbread cookies, put them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and covered with baking paper.
  8. We send the gingerbread cookies to a well-heated oven for 15 minutes (I had a temperature of 240 degrees, but the ovens are different, so after 10 minutes we start looking at the gingerbread cookies so as not to burn).
  9. Ready-made gingerbreads can be poured with sugar icing, but I did without it - this did not make the gingerbread worse. :)
