Let's prepare today not only delicious, but also healthy homemade bread - with the addition of bran. The recipe for this wheat bread includes wheat bran, which can easily be replaced with any other - oat, rye, rice, buckwheat or barley.

We can talk for a long time about the benefits of bran (hard shell of grain) - in particular, in small quantities, their use helps to increase intestinal motility and cleanse the body.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. The recipe for this delicious bread includes wheat flour and bran, boiled warm water, yeast, salt, sugar and some refined vegetable oil.
  2. So, first of all, let's start making yeast dough for bread. Sift the wheat flour into a suitable bowl. We make a hole and add dry active yeast to it.
  3. Mix everything, add salt and sugar, mix again. Now we make a depression again and pour warm (37-38 degrees) boiled water.
  4. Knead the thin dough, then add the bran.
  5. Stir and pour in refined vegetable oil.
  6. Knead the dough for at least 10, and preferably 15 minutes, until smooth and uniform, dense, but not very steep. We make a bun, cover the bowl with a towel or tighten with cling film. Leave the dough warm for 1 hour.
  7. This is how it looks after 60 minutes.
  8. Gently knead the dough and let it grow for another 1 hour.
  9. The dough will increase 3 times from the original volume.
  10. We knead it again, form a flat round bun (you can make it in the form of a loaf) and send it to a baking sheet covered with parchment and a little floured. Let's leave the future bread for 45 minutes to rise, and at this time we will warm up the oven to 220 degrees.
  11. The bran bread has grown - you can bake it.
  12. We bake bread in a steam bath (substituting a bowl of water on the bottom) for 40 minutes at 220 degrees.
  13. Cool the finished loaf on a wire rack.
  14. Bon appetit to you and your family!
