So, let's go through the foods that should be at room temperature. Take any oat flakes, but not instant ones (there is nothing useful in them in my opinion), a teaspoon and a tablespoon in my recipes are always used under the knife, that is, without a slide, unless otherwise specified when preparing a particular dish. Instead of lard, you can add any other fat to the dough - odorless chicken, butter or vegetable oil are also great. I just really like the special aroma that distinguishes ready-made baked goods with pork fat. 1.5 teaspoons of fast-acting yeast is 5 grams.
  2. In my bread maker, the following ingredients are provided: first liquid, then loose. If you have the opposite, follow the instructions. Pour 300 milliliters of lukewarm whey and 30 grams of melted pork fat into a bucket.

  4. Next, pour 120 grams of oatmeal. There are no others in our family - only Hercules, which needs to be cooked.

If it is hot in your kitchen (especially in summer), pour all these three ingredients into different ends of the bucket so that the dough does not have time to oxyderate during fermentation. Otherwise, there is a high probability of subsidence of the roof of the finished bread.
  6. We choose the French bread program, time - 3 hours 50 minutes. The first batch of dough begins, which lasts 15 minutes. In the process, we monitor the state of the kolobok - it should be soft, gentle, but at the same time keep its shape and not spread. If the bun does not want to be gathered, add a little flour, since the moisture content of this product is different for everyone. We noticed that the bucket was clean, all the flour mixed into the dough. If the dough, on the contrary, is still lumpy and even crumbles, you need to add more liquid, but quite a bit. Now I do not advise you to open the lid, so as not to disturb the dough - it may fall off during the baking process.
  7. Exactly 3 hours 50 minutes after the start of the program, our assistant will squeak about the readiness of the bread.
  8. We take out the bucket and take out the bread. Cool it completely on its grate so that the bottom does not get wet. A ready-made oat bread with whey is obtained with a weight of about 830 grams.
