The shrimp can be finer, but the cooking time will be shorter. Such delicious shrimp is a perfect beer snack. I used Argentine shrimp instead of the usual king prawns. And another important aspect: Argentine prawns are more delicious than king prawns.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare ingredients. To cook shrimp in the oven, we need: large shrimps (I have Argentinean, you can also get more familiar royal ones). For the marinade: olive oil, lemon zest and juice, garlic and Provencal herbs.
  2. Step 2. Pre-defrost and dry the shrimps.
  3. Step 3. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Grate the zest on a coarse grater.
  4. Step 4. Pass the garlic through a press.
  5. Step 5. In a deep bowl combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic and Provencal herbs. Beat everything until smooth, until the butter combines with the lemon juice.
  6. Step 6. Place the shrimp in a bowl. Mix everything thoroughly. Put in the fridge to marinate for 3 hours, or better overnight. Stir the shrimps several times during marinating so that they are evenly saturated with the marinade.
  7. Step 7. Line a baking sheet with a double layer of parchment. Arrange the shrimp and marinade in one layer. Bake the shrimp for about 10-12 minutes at 200 ° C. If the shrimp are ordinary king, then 8-9 minutes is enough
  8. Step 8. Transfer the prepared shrimps to a plate. They can be served both warm and cold. Bon Appetit!
  9. If there is an opportunity to buy Argentine shrimp, then I strongly advise you to try them. They are, of course, more expensive (the average price is about 900 r per 1 kg. But they are sold without a head and there is much more meat in them. Therefore, 3-4 pieces are enough to eat up against 2-15 pieces of smaller king prawns, in which we overpay a lot for the heads that we remove, so the final price per serving will be about the same.
