Paprikash is a national Hungarian dish with the addition of a large amount of paprika, hence the name of the dish. Paprikash does not have to be cooked with chicken, you can choose lamb, veal or even fish, but bright paprika is a must.

  1. Finely chop the onion. Fry in vegetable oil in a heavy bottomed pan until golden brown.
  2. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes, add to the pan to the onion and fry lightly.
  3. Then add chopped sweet pepper, garlic, hot pepper. Mix.
  4. Add grated or chopped without peel tomatoes, tomato juice, salt, paprika. Mix and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Add flour to sour cream and mix thoroughly. Pour the sour cream into the pan with the chicken fillet.
  6. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Paprikash is ready. You can serve with any pasta, but it is also delicious with cereals.
