And one more new recipe for your favorite biscotti. For him, I decided to use two types of chocolate and Amaretto liqueur, which, however, can be easily replaced with rum. These biscotti are not very hard, but also not soft, that is, such a golden mean.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Put the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a water bath. When it begins to melt, add the butter, and when it melts completely, pour in the Amaretto or rum. Do not allow boiling water to come into contact with the dishes in which the chocolate is melted, as well as very intense boiling, otherwise the chocolate will overheat.
  3. Mix the dough to make a chocolate biscotti
  4. Combine all other ingredients except nuts until smooth. Add some cooled melted chocolate, nuts and stir well again. The dough should be about the consistency shown in the photo.
  5. Divide the dough into two and roll each into a long sausage. To prevent the dough from sticking to your hands, brush your palms with vegetable oil. Place the sausages on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Chop chocolate biscotti, bake for another 6 minutes
  7. Remove the baking sheet (do not turn off the oven), let it cool for 5 minutes and cut the sausages diagonally into slices about 1.5 cm thick. It is convenient to do this with a serrated knife. Place the slices back on the baking sheet and dry for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool the biscotti and store in a screw-top jar. Take two each morning for a cup of coffee :)
