There were times when we could only dream of such a luxury as a doctor's sausage. Soviet grocery dreams then found a wonderful sweet embodiment, quite accessible to any ordinary citizen. Oddly enough, this dessert has not lost its popular love even now, migrating even to the menu of five-star hotels in Turkey!

  1. Break the cookies with your hands into small cubes with a side of about 1 cm. Fry the nuts in a dry frying pan, cool and chop coarsely with a knife.
  2. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, mix sugar and cocoa, add milk and softened butter; put on low heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 4-5 minutes. while stirring. Remove from heat and cool slightly, stirring constantly.
  3. Add egg and vanilla sugar, stir well. Then add cookies and nuts, mix the mixture well, put it on a thick layer of plastic wrap, form a "sausage", tie at the ends with ribbons and refrigerate for 1 hour
  4. Remove the film from the "sausage", cut into slices with a hot knife and serve.
