A few days ago, I was surprised to learn that delicate and unrealistically delicious coconut cookies can be easily made at home - until now I firmly believed that these magical rounds are available only to those who have professional culinary techniques. A friend came to the rescue, who, as it turned out, has long been baking cookies from coconut flakes according to a recipe from an old French cookbook, where you can see the full step-by-step process with a photo of the finished product. After rewriting this manual and starting to bake, I realized that even a child can make such cookies! Today I am happy to share with you a recipe for cookies with coconut flakes, so that you can prepare this delicate, very tasty and aromatic delicacy for your family.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cooking sequence
  2. Cut the butter into pieces and melt in the microwave or in a water bath.
  3. Then let the resulting liquid cool thoroughly.
  4. Sift the flour once through a fine sieve.
  5. Assembly
  6. We remove the coconut flakes from the bag and let it dry a little by spreading it out on a towel.
  7. Dough
  8. Beat eggs and sugar until foamy.
  9. Pour in the coconut flakes, mix the mass with a whisk.
  10. Bakery products
  11. Then add flour, melted and cooled butter, manually knead the dough.
  12. We line the baking sheet with baking paper, carefully level the surface.
  13. Then generously coat the paper with butter margarine or butter.
  14. We manually sculpt small balls from the prepared dough and immediately place them on a baking sheet.
  15. We make sure that the distance between the workpieces is at least 3 cm.
  16. Having laid out all the balls in this way, lightly press them down on the baking sheet so that they become flat from below.
  17. Then we give our blanks time to "rest", approximately 5 minutes.
  18. We set the oven to heat up to a temperature of 180 degrees.
  19. We place the baking sheet with the blanks on the upper wire rack.
  20. We bake our cookies for about 10 minutes without opening the door.
  21. Then we visually assess the readiness of the products, take one for a sample.
  22. Remove the rosy, slightly golden products from the oven and set to cool.
  23. After that, we transfer them in piles to a beautiful serving dish.
