Ingredients

Directions

  1. Remove the oil from the refrigerator first. Put softened butter, sugar, vanillin, egg yolk in a bowl. Pound into a homogeneous mass. Add lemon zest, sifted corn and wheat flour with baking powder and starch. Knead the dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator.
  2. Divide the cooled dough into small pieces (about the size of a small apple). Roll each piece into a circle. Lightly rub the barrel of "apple" on the beet cut to brown the "apples", roll each cookie in sugar. Stick 2 cloves into each apple on both sides (on one side with the head inside the cookie, on the other side with the stalk of the clove inside).
  3. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Bon Appetit!
