Kulurakya is a gorgeous Greek cookie made for Easter. Easter is now far away, but the incredible orange scent warms up very much in the frosty winter in Siberia. It can be made in any form and supplemented with sesame seeds or powdered sugar. This pastry is a wonderful dessert for receiving guests! The cookies are incredibly aromatic, with a slight sourness of balsamic vinegar and so crumbly.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat eggs, sugar, butter and vinegar with a whisk until the sugar is smooth and dissolved, add the zest and mix. Sift flour with baking powder, combine with liquid ingredients, knead the dough, roll it into a ball.
  2. Divide the dough into balls the size of a walnut, roll up a flagellum from each ball and place firuno on a baking sheet covered with baking paper (curls, snails, pigtails). Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
