This recipe is from the "Gastronom" magazine (I don't remember what year). It was called "New Year's Cookies", and there are no spices in it. At first I wanted to add cinnamon (what a winter without spices), but then I decided to make it according to the recipe. And you know, I did the right thing. In this tender liver, cranberries are a soloist, an apple harmoniously accompanies))) A wonderful duet! And if you still want aromatic spices, then sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar with cinnamon or cardamom.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add the diced butter and chop with a knife until crumbled. Add sugar, egg and milk. Add milk in a spoonful to make a soft, not batter. Peel and cut the apple into small cubes. Mix lingonberries with apples, sprinkle with flour and mix, add to the dough. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
  2. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or baking paper (grease a little with oil). Using a teaspoon, place small cookies at a distance of 3-4 cm from each other. Put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool the cookies on a wire rack, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
