Salmon itself is rich in fat, and with the addition of Parmesan and butter makes a great main course on the keto diet. Salmon is quite simple to prepare: you just need to mix the spices, season the fish and bake the dish in the oven.

  1. Preheat the oven to 175C. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly brush with cooking oil. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, cheese, and parsley.
  2. Place the salmon on a baking sheet, top with salt and pepper. Then cover the salmon with the marinade, pressing the coarse spices slightly into the surface of the fish. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  3. If your oven has a Grill setting, select this setting and bake the salmon for another 2 minutes to get a crispy crust.
