Beef soup with rice and vegetables

Beef soup is very easy to prepare and very healthy. To make the soup even healthier, use lean, lean meats. Despite its simple composition, the soup turns out to be very tasty and satisfying.

  1. Cut the beef into 1.5 cm cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the meat until golden brown, stirring occasionally. It will take you about 5 minutes.
  3. Place the beef on a plate. Cut the carrots into half rings.
  4. Chop the onion and garlic, place in the beef pan and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Add carrots and fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Add 100 ml of broth and stir well with a spoon.
  7. Transfer the contents of the pan to the saucepan, add the beef and remaining stock.
  8. Add thyme, salt and cook for 30 minutes.
  9. Then add rice and cook until tender. Remove the thyme sprigs from the soup.
  10. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the soup and serve immediately.
