In the same pan, in the same oil, fry the onion and carrots, add pepper and tomato, I also added a little garlic, simmer for about five minutes, and pour water or meat broth so that the liquid covers the vegetables, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes
Add rice, mix everything, salt, and put the drumsticks on top. Simmer under the lid until the liquid boils away, if the rice is not cooked, add a little more water.
A couple of minutes before readiness, pour out the peas and corn.
