Bulgur with chicken and vegetables

Bulgur is crushed wheat grains, thermally processed and crushed.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the butter with two tablespoons of olive oil and fry the bulgur for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Then pour bulgur with water in a ratio of 1/3 and cook until tender, slightly salting.
  3. Saute carrots and onions in olive oil in a pan.
  4. Add bell peppers cut into small cubes and fry for another 3 minutes.
  5. Then add the diced zucchini (or zucchini) and fry for a couple more minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add chicken cut into small pieces and fry for 10 minutes, then add chopped garlic and herbs, mix well and salt to taste. Add pepper and sweet paprika.
  7. Combine bulgur and vegetables with chicken in a pan, try again for salt and mix. Cover and leave for 7-10 minutes to soak the bulgur.
  8. Serve bulgur with chicken and vegetables as an independent dish! Bon appetit!
