Caesar salad is a very controversial salad, because on the Internet you can find a wide variety of its variations. Some cook it exclusively with a certain Iceberg lettuce and Worcester sauce only from a specific manufacturer, others are not averse to using cabbage and mayonnaise)). Our recipe is still closer to the classic Caesar with chicken, but with the replacement of not all available sauces and anchovies :)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Squeeze the garlic through a garlic press, mix with olive oil. Leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut the bread into cubes, put on a baking sheet covered with parchment and sprinkle with olive oil (a small amount, the rest of the oil will be needed to fry the chicken and prepare the sauce). Put the bread in the oven for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees, until the croutons are browned.
  3. From the total amount of olive oil, take 1 tbsp. l. and heat it up in a skillet. Cut the chicken fillet into large pieces and fry until golden brown on all sides.
  4. We're preparing the sauce. Boil a pot of water. Put the egg in boiling water for 2 minutes. So that the egg does not burst, you can first hold it in very warm water, but even if it bursts, it's not scary. After two minutes, remove the egg and beat it into a bowl. It should turn out to be quite liquid, with slightly cooked protein.
  5. Add all other ingredients to a bowl: soy sauce, honey, mustard, remaining olive oil with garlic, grated Parmesan, wine vinegar or lemon juice, salt, pepper to taste.
  6. Blend everything thoroughly with a blender until smooth.
  7. Cut the fried chicken into pieces. Cut cherry tomatoes into halves.
  8. Let's start assembling the salad. Arrange lettuce leaves on a plate. Arrange chicken pieces and tomatoes on top.
  9. Add the grated or sliced Parmesan and pour over the Caesar dressing. Sprinkle the salad with breadcrumbs just before serving. Bon appetit!
