I make carrot zrazy with semolina, apple and raisins. I fry in vegetable oil. A wonderful dish for those with a sweet tooth!

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Peel and wash the carrots.
  2. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Combine carrots with egg, salt and sugar, gradually adding semolina.
  3. Make sure there are no lumps in the carrot dough. Set aside. The semolina should swell.
  4. While the semolina is swelling, prepare the filling. Soak the raisins in hot boiled water.
  5. Peel the apple, remove the core and grate on a coarse grater.
  6. Grind the walnuts into coarse crumbs.
  7. Combine raisins, grated apple and walnuts. Drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. Scoop up some carrot dough and make a tortilla. Place a teaspoon of the filling on the edge of the flatbread.
  9. Blind your eyes. Dip the carrot grains in flour.
  10. Fry the carrot grains in vegetable oil on both sides until crisp. Serve with sour cream.
