Lentils are perfect for dietary meals, and for vegetarian (and even vegan) cuisine, and for Orthodox fasting. It is rich in protein and can replace meat for a while.

  1. Prepare your ingredients.
  2. Rinse the lentils and boil in salted water. Drain the water. Different types of lentils are cooked in different ways. As a rule, the cooking time is indicated on the package. Mine was ready in 20 minutes.
  3. Chop up the peppers and celery.
  4. Combine the sauce with mustard, lemon juice and olive oil. Place all the ingredients in a salad bowl, add ground black pepper and herbs, which you like, pour over the sauce and stir. Add salt if necessary.
