Today I decided to make some baked goods for dinner. Milk stale and sour in the refrigerator. This was the reason. Here's how to make sour milk donuts.

  1. Pour sour milk into a bowl. We break one egg, if large, and two, if small. Add a pinch of salt, 50 grams of sugar and 3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Whisk thoroughly. Sift flour and soda. First we knead the dough with a spoon, and then, adding flour, we go over to our hands.
  2. The dough turned out to be elastic, not sticky. We wrap it in a bag, or cover it with a towel. We leave for half an hour. Then sprinkle the table with flour and roll out one or two layers from the ball, depending on the size of your table.
  3. We roll out the layers of small thickness, otherwise the donuts may not fry well. One centimeter in thickness is sufficient. Cut out circles from the dough using a mug. Cut out smaller circles with a glass (in larger circles).
  4. Now we take a deep frying pan, heat it up with a lot of vegetable oil. Put dough circles in hot oil, fry them on both sides. Donuts have to float in fat, then they will turn out as they should.
  5. We immediately put the finished donuts on napkins or on a material that absorbs fat. This will make them drier. Grind 50 grams of sugar in a mortar. Sprinkle the hot donuts with powdered sugar to soak them well. You can eat them with tea, milk and coffee, but better not at night!
