Today we cook cabbage soup without frying. This is a dietary recipe for everyone who is not allowed to use fatty, rich soups.

  1. Peel, wash and chop the potatoes.
  2. Place in a saucepan.
  3. Pour the broth over the potatoes and start cooking the cabbage soup.
  4. Peel and wash onions and carrots.
  5. Grate the carrots with large holes and finely chop the onion.
  6. Add to the pot with broth and potatoes.
  7. Cut the cabbage into thin strips.
  8. When the potatoes, onions and carrots are at the half-cooked stage, put the chopped cabbage in the cabbage soup.
  9. Wash the tomatoes, chop them in a meat grinder, blender or just grate. Add to saucepan.
  10. Season the cabbage soup with salt and pepper to taste, add the bay leaf.
  11. Cook the cabbage soup until tender. Add chopped garlic at the end of cooking.
  12. Finely chop the parsley and put in the ready-made cabbage soup.
