This large fluffy pancake (pancake) is more like an omelet, and differs from ordinary pancakes primarily in that it is baked in the oven. Perfect breakfast.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. For pancakes, it is best to use a small heat-resistant skillet or pan with low sides. A cast iron skillet will work, but the pancake may not rise well enough in it, which, however, will not greatly affect the taste.
  2. It is important to preheat the form, so preheat the oven to 200 degrees along with the pan.
  3. In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, add the seeds of half a vanilla pod (or part of another vanilla). Gradually add flour and sugar with salt. Beat until smooth so that there are no lumps.
  4. Carefully remove the hot pan (form) from the oven, melt the butter in it. Pour the dough into the pan and return to the oven. Bake the pancake for 30 minutes, until the edges are browned. The middle will go down.
  5. While the pancake is baking, combine the butter, sugar and remaining vanilla. Grease the finished hot pancake on top with this mixture and immediately serve the pancake to the table.
