Keto Almond Flour Pizza Dough

This light keto almond flour pizza dough contains only 2 grams of net carbs per serving.

Ingredients

  1. Preheat oven to 190C and brush over a 23-25cm springform cake tin or pizza pan with oil.
  2. Add shredded mozzarella and cream cheese to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat the cheese in the microwave for 60 seconds.
  3. Remove and mix with a fork. Return the cheese to the microwave and cook, at 30 second intervals, as many times as necessary until the cheese is melted and elastic. Stir the cheese between intervals.
  4. Add almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder and salt to the cheese. Stir. Knead the dough until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Place the dough on a large piece of parchment paper. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top of the dough. Roll out the dough, about 0.6 cm thick, between two sheets of parchment until the dough is about the same diameter as a baking dish.
  6. Remove the top parchment paper to transfer the prepared dough into the baking pan. Place a split pan or pizza pan on top of the dough. Place one hand on the bottom of the pot and the other under the parchment paper with the dough. With a quick motion, turn the dough and pan over so that the mold is on the bottom and the dough is on top. Carefully peel the parchment sheet off the dough.
  7. Bake at 190C for 8-10 minutes, until the dough is slightly golden brown.
  8. When the crust is ready, you can use the filling of your choice. After adding the filling, bake the pizza for another 8-10 minutes at a temperature of 190C.
