Flaxseed Thin Pancakes are a quick and tasty alternative to low-carb bread. Ground flaxseed is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. Foods made with this product can help reduce hunger and aid digestion.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. The better the ingredients are blended, the more smooth the dough will be and the faster the mozzarella will melt.
  2. The dough should turn out to be liquid. If the dough becomes too thick towards the end of cooking (due to the ability of flaxseed flour to absorb moisture), add a little more water and stir.
  3. Heat butter or olive oil in a non-stick preheated skillet.
  4. Spoon out about 2 tablespoons of batter (pan diameter 20 cm, pancakes should take up about 2/3 of the pan). Fry over medium heat.
  5. When bubbles appear on the surface, turn the pancake over to fry on the other side. If you are using butter for frying, clean the pan while cooking to prevent the oil from burning.
