The traditional recipe for Mimosa salad contains rice or potatoes, which is not good for keto. In order not to give up such a tasty and satisfying salad during a diet, you can slightly change its ingredients. To make keto mimosa, you need a simple set of foods. For keto mimosa, canned pink salmon in oil or its own juice and hard cheese such as Parmesan are well suited.

  1. Boil eggs hard-boiled in boiling water for 10 minutes, cool, separate the white from the yolks.
  2. Grate the proteins on a coarse grater and put the first layer in a salad bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper, coat with mayonnaise on top.
  3. Drain the oil from the fish, remove the bones, mash the remaining pulp with a fork and place in a second layer in a salad bowl.
  4. Cut the onion into half rings or small cubes and lay out in the third layer.
  5. Finely chop cold butter with a knife or grate on a coarse grater, put in a fourth layer.
  6. Grate the cheese and put on top of the butter (fifth layer).
  7. Grate boiled carrots, mix with 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
  8. Place the seasoned carrots in a sixth layer in a salad bowl.
  9. Decorate the salad with chopped yolks.
  10. Chill the salad in the refrigerator before serving.
